All entries must be accompanied with the full amount of entrance fees, or they will not be entertained; also with names, ages, sex, pedigree, and performance of the horses, together with the colours of the riders. Metropolitan “ Rules of Raoing ” strictly adhered to. Protests (if any) must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of disputed event. A deposit of 40s shall aooompany each protest. All races are for hacks only. Hack shall mean a horse that has never won £2O in one stake at time of starting. A limited number of permits, not to exoeed seven, will be issued to approved bookmnkers at two guineas each. Permits must be obtained from the Secretary before 11.30 a.m on day of raoes.
