The following tenders were accepted by the Waipawa County Council, today : • Contract No. 372. —For delivering 500 oubic yards gravel on Mungahe road, Ngupaeruru.—Berntsen 3s fid per yard (accepted;-, J. W. Stewart 3s 9d. Contract No. 383. —For forming and metalling 13| chains of Stanley street extension, Danevirke.—J. O’Connor 58s per chain (accepted), A. Thompson £56, S. A. Rossiter 90s per chain. Contraot No. 384.—F0r finding all material aud erecting 26 chains of road fence, Railway road, Matamau.—W. R. Scrimgeour 18s 6d (accepted,).
