[to the editor |. Sir,—l was pleased to see yourst on the action of the Govern ment in i nection with land settlement (ord action) in the immediate neighbomk of Waipawa. You are quite corns saying that there is a feeling of din tent amongst the Liberal Party ill district, at the way they are hi treated. We have had promises mail Mr Seddon, the Minister of Landi,i our member also. We have been id to send a petition to the Governs! specifying what land in the neighbourhood of Waipawa would most suitable. That haß been dow,l we seem as far as ever from what wen As regards Forest Gate, I think) compulsory acquisition of that prop*! wrong.
