Nominations, with full names, colors, and performances for the last two years, together with Fees, for the Waipawa Handicap, Mile Handicap, Hurdle Handicap, and Bicycle Handicap must be in the hands of the Secretary, before 8 p.m, on FRIDAY, October 22nd. Nominations for the Amateur Handicap will be received by Mr C. Cunningham, hon. sec. H.B.A.A. Club, up to 8 p.m. on the 29th October, who will also receive Acceptances up to the 3rd November. Acceptances, with Fees, must be sent in before 8 p.m. on THURSDAY, November 4th. Competitors having no performances during the past two years, must send in their last thbee performances. No Nomination, Acceptance or entry will be received unless accompanied by the proper Fees. CONDITIONS. In Hop, Step and Jump three tries each allowed. In all events there must be three competitors or no second prize, five or no third. All protests must be in writing and must be lodged with the Secretary within 15 minutes of disputed event, with a deposit of 5s which mny be forfeited if the protest be deemed frivolous. The Committee reserve the right to call on any competitor to make a declaration as to his performances. The Amateur Handicap will be contested subject to the Rules and Regulations of the N.Z.A.A. Association’s rules. Unless ten are nominated the committee reserve the right to strike out the event and return the fees. During the day races and games will be organised for the children, and prizes consisting of toys, etc, will be distributed. Admission to Ground Is, Grand Stand Is. BAND IN ATTENDANCE. J.
