(BY TELEGBAPH.) (OWN CORRESPONDENT) Napier, This day. Tbe Education Board this morning decided to appoint two truant offioers, one to have jurisdiction over Napier, tbe Spit and Taradale, and the other over Hastings, Meanee, Havelock, Clive and Petane, the salary to be £2 10a per week, each with a guarantee for a month’s employment provided the work is performed satisfactorily. This proposal takes tbe place of the former resolution. Tenders Were ordered to bo called for additions to the Porangahao sohool. The Education Department iDetracted the committee that it coaid not sabsi dise the catting out class started here.
