Symss, was passing at the time and saw the accident and assisted Mr Pilcher to the homestead, where Dr Godfray, who was immediately sent for, was soon in attendance. Mr Johnstone brought the unfortunate sufferer into Waipukurau, where he is now being attened by Dr Godfray and is doing as well as can be expected.
