The Inspector af Stock, in his report on the proposed subsidy for meat export, considers that, to export successfully, a subsidy is indispensable. There is more hopeful feeling prevailing at Newcastle re the colliary dispute, but much will depend on the action taken by the aggregate meeting of miners on Saturday.
