For horses the bona fide property of a member, three months previous to the date of meeting, and to have been in that district that time ; each member to be resident in the Club’s district; gentleman riders ; welter weight |or ago ; one mile and a quarter. Entrance, 1 sov. NOVEL RACE of 20 sovs ; winner to become the property of the Stewards, immediately after the race. Weight 9st ; entrance 1 sov ; once round. FLYING HANDICAP of 10 sovs ; winner of Club Handicap to carry 71 bs extra. Nomination 5s ; Acceptance 5s ; G furlongs. Thero will also be a Pony Race if sufficient competitors ; entries on the ground. Nominations for Handicap Hurdles, Club Handicap and Flying Handicap must be in the hands of the Secretary not lat< r than 1) p.m. on the 15th of December. Weights will appear about the 22nd, and Acceptances and General Entry on the 29th. All communications to bo addressed to the Secretary, Tahoraitc. Conditions. All the races at this meeting are confined to hacks only. A hack shall mean a horse that has never started in a Weight-for-nge Handicap Race, cither on the flat or over hurdles. Hack Races excepted.

Two horses to start or no race ; three to start or no second money. No entry will bo received for any race, except on condition that all claims, disputes, and objections arising out of the racing, shall be settled by the Stewards, or whom they appoint, und their decision shall he final. The Club’s district shall mean the Woodvillo Hiding, and extending to the Manawatu on the Main Hoad at the To Whiti clearing. In all Nominations, performances must bo given. All horses to be ridden in distinguishing colors, which must be given at the time of entry. Weight - for - ago shall mean where weights are carried according to the weight-for-age scale.
