WHEREAS by Proclamation in the “ New Zealand Ga/.<-tte” of D»-c. lGtli, 188(3, llis Excellency the Governor has declared that “ Kaikora” shall be a Town District under the provisions of the Town District Act, 1881. And further, has appointed FRIDAY, the 31st December, LBB6, as the day, and the Public Library, Kaikora, as the place for holding the first Election of Five Commissioners fo constitute the Kaikora Town Beard.
