Cain, said he used to bo sick only after lun ih and never after breakfast Examined, the witness said Capt. Cain’s first illness was eighteen months before lie died and then ho was only bad a few days. Whisky was kept in tbo sick room in a liquor stand and anybody could get it. Capt. Cain’s hand was very swollen during the last illness and she could not say if Capt. Cain always saw Hall when he called, but might have done so without witness knowing it.
