The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company's report supplies the following information : Wool.—The arrivals in London up to June 11, have completed the catalogues to which the June series is limited, viz. : to 350.000 bales. A radical change for the better has taken place in the market for cross-bred wools. In Napier, the fifth sale lor the season was held on 29th ult... when 205 baits. 193 pockets, 2 fudges, and 17 bags \v. re submitted to auction. Merino scoured, is quoted up to 15 ijd; cross-breda up to lOd. Sheepskins. — In Christchurch, there is keen competition, and prices are good. In Auckland and Dunedin, the prices are advancing. In Napi**r. these continue to come free!v to hand ; and the competition at the weekly sales is becoming more active. Tallow and Fat —Very little is reported and the market is inactive. Hides.— Demand good.
