No person permitted to enter a horse for i any of the above races unless a subscriber ; of one guinea to the club ; Hack Race excepted. Three horseß to start in each race, or only half the advertised stakes will be given. Nominations for Handicap Hurdles and Hampden Stakes will close not later than 7 pm on December 18, 1883. Acceptances will be received for the same races till 7 pin of December 28, on which date all general entries are to closo. Protests to bo immediately lodged with the secretary, and to be accompanied with 1 sov, tbe same to be forfeited if objection bo considered frivilous. All disputes, claims, and objections, arising out of the racing shall be decided by the stewards, or tbe majority of them, and their decision shall be final. All entries, containing amount of qualification and entrance, name and age of horse, pedigree, ami performance, with colors of riders, to be addressed to the “ Secretary, Hampden Racing Club.” No entry received except on these conditions. BKEMP begs to inform the inliabi • tants of Waipukurau and surounding districts that his express will meet every train from Napier on and after this date. Passengers conveyed to any part of the township at 6d each ; parcels delivered at id each. Express let on hire at any minute. Commercial travellers’ luggage will be conveyed for half-price.
