Cambridge Club Beats the "Rest" at Tennis
The animal tennis match stvled as
"Town v. Country" was played on the Cambridge Club's courts in Te Koutu Park on Saturday. Actually play was between a team representing the Cambridge Club and a team selected from all other chilis affiliated with the SubAssociation.
The strength oi its top players enabled Cambridge to win by 21 sets (2(H) games) to Jl sets (I<>3 games). .Many of the games were evenly contested and a feature was that the la.st four of the country combines won all. matches. Results were as follows, town playels mentioned first:

All games were keenly contested, the result being a win for the vice-captain's team by 13 sets to 11. A return' match is eagerly awaited, and it j s hoped to have a similar club day oil December 10.
