OBITUARY

MR C. G. SPEIGHT Mr Colin Greenwood Speight, who died in Hamilton on Saturday was well-known in the Cambridge district. ' He was a keen sportsman, being associated with the Waikato Rugby Union as treasurer for 30 years and occupying a s r./ilar position in i.ho Hamilton subunion. He was also a former player and referee. Other sports in which he was keenly interested were hockey, in which he represented Auckland and acted as coach in the North, and howls, being a member of the Claudelands Club for many years. The late Mr Speight, who was a nephew of Mr 11. IL Speight, of Cambridge, was born in Thames 72 years ago, and came to Hamilton in 1914 as manager of the National Bank. Later lie became a public accountant.
