The contractors,for the nfiddle section ofnthe Cambridge-Te Awamutu main highway, are making good pro-v" gress, The work involves shiftinf , thousands of tons of spoil, which is being deposited in the ,swamp to widen the road. The sealing of portions of the Cam-'-hridge-Eureka Highway, which has ' been; under consideration for some"* time, has now been deferred. The?, Cambridge Borough Council allowed for its. share of the cost on this year's I■ estimates. i
