Sir.—Friends and collectors for the British and Foreign Bible 'Society will be glad to know that their efforts this year have nearly r.eached last year’s record of £lO9/11/7. As some areas have not been fully canvassed because of the difficulty in finding new collectors in place of some who were not able to continue, would those willing-to help leave their gifts at the “Independent” Office, Duke Street, before October 22.
