LEAMINGTON TOWN BOARD pUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Leamington Town District will be held on Wednesday 22 October, 1947, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. in the Town Hall, Leamington on the undermentioned proposal;— • 1. THE purpose of the said Loan is ■ the construction and sealing within the 'Board's boundaries of the following roads: — (a) Cambridge —Te Awamutu Main Highway. (b) Cambridge Roto-o-rangi Main Highway. 2. THE amount to be borrowed is the,sum of FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS (£5,000). 3. THE term of the loan is 25 years carrying interest at a rate not exceeding 3i percent, per annum repayable by equal half-yearly instalments and the proposed se- ■ curity is a special rate of seveneighths of a penny in the pound on the capital value of all rateable property in the Leamington Town District. 4. IT is not proposed to pay out of ' the loan the costs of raising the loan but the rate payable for brokerage, under-writing and procuration should not exceed onehalf per centum of the amount raised. 5.
