“That . this conference objects strongly to the action of the Stabilisation Commission in directing that 250,000 calfskins be supplied to New Zealand tanners at 24td, when the export pi ice of skins is at least double that price,” was a resolution adopted at a meeting of the Wairarapa provincial executive of the Federated Farmers’ organisations. It was also decided to ask the Meat Board for a full report on the levy of hides.
