Army Appointments Since the return of the first troops from overseas the Army authorities throughout the Dominion have received a steady flow of applications from both officers and men for enlistment in the regular forces. Until such time, as the policy regarding future defence is laid down the Army Department can do no more than record the names of applicants, though staff officers admit that many good men who would be an acquisition to the ‘regular forces .may, lie 16st through their accepting civilian employment in the meantime, Appointments carrying commissioned rank in the N.Z.
