HAMILTON CARNIVAL / I■ s SUCCESSFUL CAMBRIDGE ENTRIES The Hamilton Light Horse Glut held a very successful carnival at the showgrounds, Claudelands, on Saturday last. Several Cambridge competitors were successful in their particular classes.
Results are" as follows: Maiden hack, J. R. Ranstead's Ngakuru 1; cleverest hunter, Miss D. Ranstead's Blackout 1; pony scurry handicap, 14.? hands and under, Miss B. Paterson's Creamy (Miss D. Ranstead) 1; Waikato Jumping Championship (Howlett Challenge Cup), J. R. Wilson's (Pae r roa), d'Artagan 1 (d'Artagan is well known in the Cambridge district). Boy or girl, under 16 years: Diana Ranstead 1. Robbie Ranstead 2, Patricia Roberts 3; bareback rider over jumps, R. Ranstead 1, G. Peake 2, M. Kiely 3; consolation jump, Mrs Pevereal's' Black Watch 1, L. Keyte's Skipper 2, Miss D. Ranstead's Merry o <j. Exhibition of Dancing. Miss Zo e Sinton, of Cambridge, presented ballet, operatic and musical dances very attractively.
