CROQUET
CAMBRIDGE CLUB OFFICIAL CLOSING The Cambridge Croquet Club held their ollicial closing day recently, when progressive croquet was played, the highest score for the day, being won by Mrs J. Clark. Af.er the tea interval, Mrs A. Gane (vice-president) presented the trophies won during the season, as follows: “A” championship, Mrs W. Moore; Hopkirk cup, Mrs W. Moore; Butler bowl, Mrs G. Bell; handicap singles, Mrs W. Moore; runner-up, Miss F. E. Hooker. A. and B doubles, Mrs W. Moore and Mrs G. Bell; Beginner’s Trophy, Mrs T. Morriss. Annual Meeting. At the annual meeting, the officers were elected as follows: President,' Mrs G. Bell; vice-presidents, Mrs E. L. Hardy and Mrs A. W. Gane; secretary and treasurer. Miss F. E. Hooker; auditor, Mr M. Butler; delegate to S.A., Mrs H. Windsor. 1 [ The season had been a very sue-| Icessful one, and the standard of play, well maintained.
