CROWDED ’BUSES.
Sir, —Re the letter written on this subject by “W.J.H.” I wish to identify Wyself with most of his. sentiments expressed therein, but why bar the ladies from going to Hamilton or anywhere else for that matter. It is a public conveyance they are travelling in, and anyone who caters for the public has their hands more than full if they try to please (everyone. 'Personally, I never go to Hamilton unless on business or other important matter. Re the price in Cambridge being comparable with the prices in Karangahape Road. Auckland. I don’t agree with him by a long stretch. I was recently in Karangahape Road and purchased a good new felt hat for 7s 6d. and I have not seen one of the same quality in Cambridge under 155., also razors sharpened in Cambridge are 25 per cent, more than any other town of any size in New Zealand, being 2/in Cambridge, 1/6 in Auckland, Wellington, Palmerston North and Hamilton. I can post my razor to any of these mentioned places and then it will be 2d cheaper than Cambridge. Thanking you for your valuable space.—l am. etc., F. WOOD, Cambridge.^
