Mr E. A. Houston, district officer of the South Auckland sub-district, St. John Ambulance Brigade, has been admitted as a serving brother of the Order of St. John.

Colonel and Mrs R. S. Penlinglon were the guests of Mr and Mrs K. L. Wilkinson during the week-end. Mrs Penlington will be staying a few days before going on to Okoroire.
