Tunneller Injured.—A tunneller employed on the diversion tunnel at the Karapiro power scheme, Mr Kenneth McGregor, aged 46, received minor injuries to the elbow last week, while engaged on his work. He was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, Secretary Congratulated. —At a meeting of the Cambridge Increased Production Compaign Committee on Friday, congratulations were extended to the secretary, Mr R. S. Entwistle, on the manner in which he handled the affairs of the committee, and particularly the tactful way in which he wrote the outward correspondence. Comforts for Sick Soldiers.—To provide a weekly parcel of comforts for men of their regiment in hospital all' ranks of the Ist Battalion, Wellington Regiment, in camp at Wanganui, raised £ll 10/- among themselves. Last week's parcel for each man contained six eggs, a cake of chocolate, six oranges, a packet of sweets, tin of tobacco with papers and matches.
