Mr C. A. Finch is making satisfactory progress after undergoing an operation in the Waikato Hospital yesterday. The Rev. E; W. Hancock, Vicar of Te Kuiti, has entered camp as Chaplain of the Forces. The Rev. G. J. M. Craib, who was Vicar’s assistant at Cambridge until recently, has been appointed his licentiate for 12 months. Motions of sympathy with the relatives of Mr E. Wattam and Aircraftsman C. Jessop, who had died during the year were passed at last night’s meeting of the Cambridge Tennis Club. Both had been enthusiastic members of the club. Mr V. C.
