FINAL TRIBUTES

LATE MRS PRIESTLEY FUNERAL ON SATURDAY The high regard in which the Priestley family is held by the people of the Cambridge district was shown by the very representative attendance at the funeral of the late Mrs Edith Eleanor Priestley, which took place at the Cambridge Cemetery on Saturday morning. The service at the house and at the graveside was conducted by Canon A. W. Averill, of Auckland, a personal friend of Mr and the late Mrs Priestley. The pall-bearers were Messrs E. H. Garlick and A. T. Garlick, of Auckland, brothers of Mrs Priestley, Mr W. Clemow, a son-in-law, and Mr St. J. Wells. Wreaths were received from the Mayor and councillors of Cambridge, the Returned Soldiers' Association and the Cambridge Golf Club, as well as from many friends.
