LAST NIGHT OF "THE HUNCHBACK"

"DODGE CIT3R'* TOMORROW •j« r.-a.I.JL J -'.--; j .- •' ''■ >' , "' :

Screening finally < tonight at the Tudor Theatre will be "The Hunchback* to Notre Dame/' Victor Hugo's classic, in which Charles Laughton has the title rple.n;.:

The towni in the history of the western frontier of early America is the setting for the vigorous tale of adventure told in "Dodge City," the Technicolour firm starring Errol Flynn, which will be shown tomorrow and on Thursday. Other members of what is one of the most notable casts ever assembled for a picture dealing with western pioneer days, * include Olivia de Havilland, Ann Sheridan, Bruce Cabot, Frank McHugh, Alan Hale, John Litel,, Henry Travers, Henry O'Neill, Victor Jory, William Lundigan and Guinn "Big ; Boy" Williams. ■ i Aside from its brilliant and obviously impressive cast, the picture is distinguished by its magnificence and authentic re-creation of the scenes and the times depicted. The lavish detail with which the Dodge City of the 1870's and the great plains which surrounded it are vividly brought to life on the screen make it easily believable that, as reported, the studio spent a million and a half dollars oh the production. In brilliant, natural Technicolour, the vast production is said to give the spectators the feeling that history is being relived before their eyes.
