OBITUARY
MRS JANE ROBSON RESIDENT OF TAOTAOROA The death occurred in- Cambridge yesterday of Mrs Jane Margaret Robson, wife of Mr Rowland Robson, a well-known Taotaoroa farmer, aged 57 years. Mrs Robson was born at Te Awamutu, being a daughter of the late Captain and Mrs Robert Bruce. Her father died as a result of an accident on the farm when she was five years old, and she then went to live at Whatawhata. In 1919 she was married to Mr Robson, at St. Peter’s Cathedral, Hamilton, and they farmed at Whatawhata until 12 years ago, when a property was bought at Taotaoroa. Mrs Robson has been keenly interested in the affairs *of the district, and was a member‘ of the Karapiro Women’s Institute. She was very fond of all classes of sport, and was also a staunch member of the Church of England. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Edward and Rowland Robson. The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving St. Andrew’s Church at 11 a.m. for the Hamilton East Cemetery.
