REBUILDING NATION. “Germany’s motto during the coming year must continue to be ‘The strengthening of the nation’,” said Herr Hitler in a New Year message. “That means, not only the intensification of the National-Socialist training organisation, but also a further extension of armed forces. “Only a powerful State can preserve for our people that treasure which is dearest to us —peace.” .“The Church’s task is to take care of the world to come,” said the Minister for Propaganda, Dr. Goeobels. “Our task is to make this world safe.”
