JUBILEE TROTTING MEETING HUGE CROWD ATTEND SEEN AMONG THE FAIRER PUNTERS Jubilee celebrations commenced on Saturday with the Cambridge Trotting Club's Jubilee Meeting. A warm spring day enticed a record crowd of "punters" from near and far, and although there was an occasional shower, the day was anything bu{ unpleasant. Frocks were not particularly thrilling very few new spring creations saw the light of day. Navy blue seemed to have its usual run, navy and white and other shades of blue and the ever popular and definitely smart black were well up amongst the first, favourites. Tweeds in knops, diagonals and Harris were also a popular vogue, and the ideal country racing outfit. Hats were mostly small and halos were often attractively worn.
