When the son of a wealthy society family weds the daughter of an Apache chief there is a story behind it. '"Be hold My Wife" is the story, hard, sharp and grim of love so strong it blinded and of hate so savage it killed. The film will be screened tonight and Monday evening at the Town Hall Theatre.

Gene Raymond, as the boy, flees to New Mexico when his family interfere in his attempt to marry a girl whom he loves. Here lie is wounded and nursed back to health by Sylvia Sidney who plays the Indian girl, Tonita, While he is convalescing, a plan for revenge hatches in his mind, and he marries Tonita and takes her back with him.

Although the family, at first, are horrified, they attempt to make the best of a bad situation and hold a reception in'her honour. She appears in evening clothes, captivates everyone with her : beauty, but Michael, disgruntled because he is cheated of his revenge, reveals his true purpose to Tonita. Broken hearted and disillusioned, she runs away with another man, Monroe Owsley. ~ It is only when she has gone that Michael realises that he really loves her. He follows to apologise and ask her to take him back. He discovers then that Owsley has been' killed and Tonita has confessed to the murder. In a stirring and dramatic last scene these two confess their love to each other and a surprise turn of events clears her of the charge and frees her to go with Michael.
