MEETING OF EXECUTIVE,
A meeting of the executive of . the Cambridge Cricket SubrAssociation wns held last night when Mr T. F. Kerr presided. • - --. -J'-. It was reported that the South Auckland Cricket Association had accepted the sum of £5 5/- in full settlement of the debt due.
Accounts amounting to £6 5/ 8 were passed for payment. The following players were nominated for the Town v,. Country match at Hamilton on Decembrist: X llsol b Humphries, C. Chard, ,E. Muller, L. Crawshaw and two,men. to be nominated by the Cambridge Country Association. " It was resolved to carry on with the local competition on December Ist. The executive decided to accept the invitation from the Taurnnga Country Cricket Association to send a team for a match at Tauranga on~ Anniversary Day. , , It was decided to suggest to t-ie South Auckland Association that the date for the challenge match for the South Auckland Shield against Pacroa be January 12th, or if it has to be played before Xmas, the date be December Bth.
An extensive scheme of practice for the team to play in the Shield match was decided upon/ahd' 1 to invite Mr W. • R. Garrard to assist' by ! -eOaching the players. The draw for the second round is:
