PUTAEUBU SALE Messrs Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., report "having held their monthly stock sale at Putaruru on Friday, when a small yarding of all classes of stoek came forward and a good sale resulted, prices for everything excepting store pigs being well up to and in some cases in advance, of late sales. Store pigs were not so keenly sought after, and prices were slightly easier than late ruling rates, but all lots offered were sold. Prices were: Cattle: Good quality fat cows £5 18/to £6; medium quality £4 10/- to £5; other fat, cows £3 15/- to £4; meaty boner cows 35/- to £2 5/-; lighter sorts 28/- to 32/-; poorer cows 19/- to 25/-; springing Jersey heifers, good quality and close up, £5 to £5 5/-; medium quality £4 to £4 10/-; others £3 to £3 small springers in light condition £1 17/6 to £2 16/-; yearling Jersey cross heifers £1 13/- to £2; other yearling Jersey heifers 29/-; medium condition Jersey bull £2 7/6.
