CONCLUDED YESTERDAY CAMBRIDGE ENTRANTS DO WELL 1 The Winter Show was concluded yesterday there being a continuation of record crowds who have daily attended this year’s exhibition. Many - Cambridge district residents took the last opportunity yesterday of visiting the show. i An outstanding feature of this year’s show was the musical and vocal competitions. A number of Cambridge district entrants took part and they were most successful. : In addition to those published on Saturday the classes in which Cambridge entrants were placed were as follows: : National song, men, any voice, own selection: Graham Magill, S 9. 1; G A. James (Cambridge), S 7,2; Wynn Corboy, 76, 3. Piano solo, 34 years and wider, “Valsc Legore”: B. Hill and Moya Mahony (Cambridge), equal, 1; Joan Prendergast, 3; Doris Plescher and Margaret Boycs, li.e. Highland Fling, 12 and over: Rowie Doeherty (Cambridge). 82, 1; Daisy Gilmore, 80, 2; Norma Gordon. 74. 3. Irish Jig, 12 and over: D. Sorenson, S 3,1; Rowie Dnehcr-v SI, 2; Daisy Gilmore, 3. Tap Dance, 16 and under: Betty Spiro, 85, 1; Rowie Doeherty 2, D. Sorenson 3. Elocution. Recitation, N.Z. poem, own selection: Miss Kathleen Goodwin, 90, 1; Miss Mavqnret McCatliie, 80, 2; Miss Audrey Savory, 70, 3. All of Cambridge. Recitation, boys under 16: Geo. Goodwin, 90 marks, 1.
