PONSONBY MATCH ABANDONED It was a great disappointment to local as well as the visiting Ponsonby Club's first fifteen that the intended match yesterday had to be abandoned owing to the weather. The visitors left Auckland on Saturday afternoon and after staying in Hamilton on Saturday night came on to Cambridge yesterday morning, but the heavy downpour later in the morning rendered cricket out of the question and tho team returned to Auckland in the afternoon.
