'THE CAMBRIAN'

FORM II MAGAZINE,

CAMBRIDGE D.ILS. PRODUCTION.

There are few of us older folk who do not look back on our school days with some feelings of regret at the happy times that have gone for ever, and wish we had something to remember them by. The 1933 pupils of Form II at the Cambridge District High School have provided this “something” for themselves in the shape of a magazine “The Cambrian,” which has just reached us from the editor.

11 The Cambrian ” is an excellent production in every way. It is crammed with short stories, poems, several plays, and reviews of sporting and other aspects of school life. The literary standard throughout, is very high, and some of the poems particularly would do credit to an adult production.

The magazine was ably edited by Miss Marie Savory, and the attractive cover was designed and drawn by Aubrey Hooker. Among others whose contributions helped to make 1 * The Cambrian” something of which any school ought well be proud, were Leslie Buttimore, Margaret and Ruth Salter, Gwcnda Speight, Marie Savory, Alan Carter, Andrew Fletcher, Colin Martyn, Joan Solomon, Vivette Paul, Maurice Walker-, Nancy Moore, Brian Miller, Norman and Lloyd Lees.
