AN OPEN LETTER. Dear Headers, I know that you are very busy at the present time trying to> absorb tl'C varying political stones that as, as usual, being- brought forward in great abandon and in an attempt to woo your votes. In consideration of this I will endeavour to make the first of a series of talks to you on behalf of my firm as brief as possible. First of all I want to ask you a question, and that is, are you satisfied that in the purchase of quality furniture and associated goods, you can really buy cheaper in Hamilton, or Auckland, than in your Homo Town and, of course, from my firm? Let me give you an example. Only the other day a person was surprised to find that the same kind of suite bought in Hamilton, could have been purchased from us for £4 10/- less. Now then just as the politicians say—l claim that our prices for quality furniture cannot be bettered in Hamilton or elsewhere, but while the politicians sometimes make rash promises, you can prove the truth of my statement, by coming along and pricing a few lines for yourself. Now Christmas and the summer season is at hand, and it is a good opportunity for you to try us out. Just conic and have a look round, and while you are in the premises, have a look at the latest and novel type of deck chair, made solely by my firm. Pll toll you more about this line in my next letter. Well, cheerio for the present, and hoping your candidate is first past the post. Yours respectfully, “BILL.” A. E. SAVORY & CO., LTD., Cambridge.
