WOMEN’S DIVISION

THE CAMBRIDGE BRANCH. MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Cambridge Women's Division was held yesterday in the Farmers' Club room, when the president, Mrs W. G. Caro, presided over a large attendance. The following members were elected: Mesdamos Mackey, Waddell, <E : . C. Wallis and G. Price. A notification was received from Flock House that another boy had been sent to the Cambridge district. It was mentioned that there are quite a number of Flock House boys now in the district.

The branch decided to send a Christmas message to each boy and twelve of the members offered to send parcels to the boys. It was decided to send a Christmas hamper to a poor family and it was also arranged that any Christmas gifts be left at Mrs Ray’s shop on or before December 14. Garments for small children will be must acceptable. A doll dressing competition for children was arranged and details will appear later. A demonstration of fancy bead work was given by Mesdames Anderson and Fisher, and was much appreciated. The hostesses for the afternoon tea were Mesdames Hewutt and Lambic. 1 -
