Entries are restricted to residents of the Cambridge district. Any subject may be selected. Entries must be written in ink or (preferably) type-written, and on one side of the paper only. Stories or essays should not be longer than 1500 words. Name and address should accompany all entries. CHTLDEEN'S SECTION: First prize £1 V-\ second prize 10/6. Boys or girls attending any school in the Cambridge district are eligible to enter. Any subject may be selected. Write on one side of the paper only, and in ink. Efforts must be certified by a teacher of the school, that they are the competitor's own work. Essays or stories should not be more than 1,000 words .in length.
