BREAK-UP PARTY
GOODWOOD SCHOOL. FINE ARRAY OF FANCY DRESSES. The annual break-up party of the Goodwood School took place on Friday night and proved a great success. The big class-room had been gaily decorated with blue and gold streamers and a huge bunch of coloured balloons added the finishing touches. About 8 p.m. the children in their fancy dresses assembled for the Grand March, and were led off by two tiny tots. After the march a display ot: folg dancing and games was given which reflected great credit on the teachers. During the evening the chairman of the school committee (Mr Wattam) thanked those responsible for the success of the evening and called on two pupils to present each of their teacheis (Miss Foster and M.rs Willis) with posies of violets. Supper was served in the infant room after which the adults took the floor and dancing was continued till a late hour.
