FANCY DRESS DANCE.
There was a very good attendance at the Regent Hall'on-Saturday evening when the management of the Old Time dances hejd their, first dance—a fancy dress function—in the aforementioned hall. Quite a number were in fancy costumes and with jazz and old-time dances a very enjoyable time was spent. The winners of the fancy; dress competition were: Miss R. Arnold (Pierrette); Master Mclntyre (Indian). Mrs Jones and Mr Sturgeon were the winners of the "five hundred" tournament; The music was good, being supplied by Miss. Strawbridge and Mr Clayton.
