YESTERDAY'S LOCAL SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., held their local ■■ aale yesterday, and report as follows: — We held our live stock sale at the yards yesterday, when good entries were brought forward in all classes. Some of our prices were as follows:—Fat cows, £8 10/- to £lO 2/6; lighter fat cows, £6 5/- to £8 7fa store cows, £4 15/- to £5 5/-; good quality Jersey heifers, £7 to £8 5/-; Shortlorn heifers £5 12/- to £6- 8/-; bulls, £lO to £l4 14/-; dairy cows, £lO to £l4; Shorthorn heifers, £9 to £9 15/-V Pigs: jPorkers, £2 11/- to £2 19/-; lighter por■kers, £1 9/- to £2 8/-; weaners, 29/- to SS/6', slips,' 19/6 to 24/-.
