Mr iTT&ncr stated he had discussed natters with Mr M. Butler, who appeard to be under the impression that the joard had not given him quite fair ireatment in regard to the cutting of irees and hedges on his property. The position was explained by the ieeretary and chairman, after which it ivas resolved that the chairman and jngineer wait on Mr Butler and discuss ihe subject of contention, viz., the renOval of trees and hedges on.jyirs Buter’s property. " Public Works Statement. •fThe Public Works Department forwarded a copy of the Public Works Jtatement for the current year. Arapuni Supply. ThevMinister of Public Works advisid thjfe board, in reply to its enquiry, department did not anticipate he need for any restriction to the powr supply from Arapuni during the preent milking season. —Received. Power Poles. Messrs Rosenfield and Co. wrote inorming the board that a consignment f power poles for the board would arive from Australia during the coming reek. Bath Improvement. The Cambridge Borough Council rrotc, inviting the board to assist in he public bath improvement scheme by lUTrylng out the necessary wiring alerations free of charge. The council jointed out that the scheme was for the enefit of the entire district, and as here were no funds available, it was oped the board would give its assisance., •

some trouble had been caused at Hautapu sub-station due to the faulty operation of the old Tclays. A repetition of this trouble is now very remote, owing to the new type relays being of different design. • Condensers: The static condensers ordered some time ago are now arriving and will be installed immediately. General: The line alterations authorised for Mr J. Watt was completed. Continued increase in load at French Pass has necessitated an alteration there of the transformer location, and to this end a short section of line half a mile in length is being changed to high tension. This will deal effectively with the situation there. The' transformer alterations authorised for Messrs Russell, Pukeroro, and Moore, Fencourt, are delayed pending arrival of high tension fuses from Wellington. These are on their way and will be here in a few days, when the work will be proceeded with.
