McWilliams (wireless operator), itt the monoplane Southern Cross for' Singapore. , •' ; The airmen left Derby yesterday a£ - 5.40 p.m. Western Australian time (IA9 p.m. Sydney time) upon this, the second stage of their flight to England, ARRIVAL AT SINGAPORE, GOOD NON-STOP FLIGHT, r SINGAPORE, June 29, The Southern Cross arrived here to* day ,at 12.45 p.m. The airmen wer& quite fresh, although they had freeil {BP the air 26 hours. Slight trouble wit&one of the magnetos was experienced, but it is hoped to obtain a new one at Rangoon, where they intend to land on Sunday afternoon.
