THE MAUNGAKAWA BOARD
A meeting of members of the Mauagakawa Rabbit Board was held at the Te Miro school on Thursday last. It was reported that, as the weather had; been exceptionally fine for the time of the year, there had been a good take of poison on the. board 'sJarea. The farmers are now gassing the bur-, rows with "Cyancgas / ." Accounts amounting to £l2 5/6;rfwere passed for payment. . \ Mr Paton, advised the board that iie was unable to.continue -to act as ajnejpciber of the board for a further term: resignation was accepted wjth regret. The board discussed the possibility of poisoning on adjacent sections, it being felt that poisoning should be done simultaneously to secure- the best results. H'-W:
