RAILWAY MANAGEMENT. RUMOURED CHANGE. WELLINGTON, April 4. Persistent rumours have ijeen in 'ciry dilation lately that, the Government anticipates making tl change in regard to the management of the railways. It has been hinted, that it is its intention to do away with the board of management and revert to the old system' of control by a general manager. The matter was mentioned to the Premier.
