SPORTING AND DRAMATIC,
Exceptionally attractive is this week’s issue of the N.Z. Sporting and Dramatic Review. The centre pages display conspicuous figures in the world of note from America and France. Specially featured are the motor cyclo sports at Taka-puna, depictingthrills anti sensational happenings at the meeting. Interesting gatherings represented are 'the Taihape Axemen’s Annhal Sports, the Southern Districts’ Fire Brigade Demonstration at Gore, and the National Rifle Meeting at Trentham. The Thames Trotting Club’s Meeting is covered in a striking series, while the Rangitikei, Racing Club’s gathering at Bulls is dealt with generously. A photograph of the N.Z. Rep. Cricket Team will be or particular interest. The Stage and Motion Picture sections are attractively set out with portraits of favourites. The overseas pictures include the Prince of Wales hunting, salt mining in Rouliiania, scuttling a blazing ship at sea, Gone Tunney and Jack Dempsey, steps of the latest dancing craze, etc. The Review is on sale at all booksellers and stationers.
