ODDFELLOWS’ DANCE
ENJOYABLE AND SUCCESSFUL On Tuesday last the annual long night dance of the 1.0.0. F. , (Arawa Lodge No. 97) was held in the Town Hall. Fifty couples were in attendance, and, to the accompaniment of firstclass music supplied by Banfield ’s full orchestra, they danced till 1 p.m. The body of the hall was decorated with hundreds of coloured paper streamers, and the floor was in perfect condition.
A delightful and sumptuous supper was served in the supper-room, which was tastefully decorated.
The table decorations of asparagus and maidenhair ferns /with camelias were the work of Mesdames T. H. Hall and I’. Butter, and were indeed beautiful.
Mr Arthur Bellamy made a very capable M.C. Altogether this dance was voted the most enjoyable held in Cambridge for some time.
