ITS PRESERVATION.
DEPUTATION TO MINISTER FOR LANDS.
As a result of representations made by the Matamata Council, supported by other local bodies, it has been arranged that a deputation wait' on The Minister for Lands at Wellington, on Wednesdav next.
The deputation will comprise Messrs .T. W. Anderson, S. H. Judd and E. J. Darby (representing the Matamata County Council), S. C. Macky (Waipa County Council), J. T. Hicks (Leamington Town Board), and W. S. Milburn and L. M. Morrin (Cambridge Borough Council).
