IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

MAY BE ABANDONED. (By Cable—Press Association) OTTAWA, July 5. It is learned that no official communications have been exchanged regarding the reported abandonment of the Imperial Conference in October. If Canada is unable to send representatives owing to the general election being expected in September, and while the report cabled from London does not provide confirmation, it is assumed that if the Premier is unable to attend the conference, it will be postponed or abandoned.
